Teaching-        Introspection and Intuition, manifestation.

The West is another of the Cardinal directions. This direction teaches us of the physical. It asks us to recognize our intuitive voice as the way that Creator makes its voice something we can physically feel. Everyone has experienced that so called "gut-feeling". The West teaches us to look within through introspection and then listen to our intuitive voice.

Manifestation is the gift of the West. Our home, the Earth, is a tremendous manifestation of Creation's dream. It supports all life, and we humans are made from her elements. How sad and arrogant to think that we are somehow superior to this Earth. We, as individuals, struggle to dream awake one solitary life while Earth supports the dream of all living things.

The Direction of the West in our Circle of Being asks us to look at our own physical bodies and evaluate our relationship to all other physical things.
